Cementing Procedure
Cut pipe squarely, remove swarf from the inner and outer surfaces. Both spigot of pipe and socket must be thoroughly cleaned. Apply an even and generous coating of cement to the pipe and inside of the fitting. Immediately push together using a twisting motion. Hold for 20-30 secs. and clean off excess adhesive. Allow at least 10mins. before handling. Full strength is reached in 4 hours, depending on temperature.
